about

Revoltmeter

Longtime hi-fi enthusiasts from Moscow, vinlyl and music gear collectors, active in multiple incarnations since 2002. Masterminds of a recent blog sensation: the 're-discovery' of Eclipse Front (electrify.ru?p=201), a fictitious minimal-wave band from 1987, based in Murmansk, Northern Russia.

"This is the third time we remix a Punk TV track. We have always enjoyed reworking other people's material, plus we are doing it for our good friends. The remix was conceived as a dance track with complex dynamics and a rich sound. All that we took from the orginal is the main synth hook and the guitar - we love to wander off as far as we possibly can to create our own version."
